We hosted the two-day Leadership Summit for our Pardon Project Steering Committee this past weekend in Harrisburg. Over 20 PPSC leaders from 16 different counties came together to discuss how best to reach out to and organize client communities across the state so that the voices of those who suffer from the discrimination will be heard in the corridors of power.

We don’t deal much with the Department of Corrections because of the post-conviction nature of our work. That’s why it was so wonderful to see our colleagues in Erie get a wonderful write-up in the DOC’s online newsletter, the Correctional Newsfront. The story was about a very successful reentry event that was held in April at Gannon University, titled “The Road Ahead: A Look into the PA Pardons Process.”

Join us this Saturday at 4900 Parkside Ave (in the park) for a record clearing clinic that we’re hosting in partnership with The Elevation Project.
