  • For the first time, an automotive brand is featured in the Pantone Color Institute's Fashion Color Trend Report, and we are thrilled to announce that it's Porsche with Turbonite. 'Turbonite' is a custom color that embodies Porsche's iconic design ethos. Its inclusion in the color trend report is a testament to innovation and highlights the brand’s commitment to pushing boundaries not just in automotive performance, but also in design. As Michael Mauer, Vice President of Style Porsche, notes, there's a parallel between the Porsche 911's status as the archetype of sports cars and Pantone's color standard as a reference for designers worldwide. 'Turbonite' is praised for its innovative, timeless qualities that give Porsche's Turbo derivatives a self-assured look. The development of this new shade was a labor-intensive process spanning several years, reflecting Porsche's dedication to perfection and innovation. As the first brand outside of Pantone's traditional fashion partners to be featured, Porsche sets a new standard for the convergence of the automotive and fashion industries. With 'Turbonite,' Porsche continues to challenge conventions while honoring its storied legacy, ensuring its vehicles remain not just modes of transportation, but statements of style and sophistication. • Five decades of Turbo means 50 years of evolution. One of the constants, however, is the unique design. It has remained true to the original while continuing the path of sovereignty and elegance of the first Turbo launched in 1974. The 911 Turbo was not just a car; it was a statement of performance, elegance, and innovation. Its introduction marked a new era, challenging the norms and setting a benchmark for speed and design. Today, we honor that legacy by reinterpreting history with the 911 Turbo 50 Years edition. Our commitment to pushing the boundaries remains as strong as ever. The 911 Turbo 50 Years edition is a testament to five decades of relentless pursuit of excellence. Limited to just 1974 units and including the Heritage Design Package, the Turbo is more than just a car; it's an experience that encapsulates the spirit of the original while embracing modern advancements. It's a tribute to all those who have been part of this incredible journey, from engineers and designers to the passionate community of Porsche enthusiasts. The dream of the 911 continues to evolve, inspiring generations with its unmatched performance and timeless design. As we look to the future, we remain dedicated to innovation and excellence, ensuring that the 911 Turbo stays at the forefront of automotive performance. Join us in celebrating this milestone and explore what makes the 911 Turbo a legend on the road. The journey of five decades is just the beginning, and we invite you to be part of the next chapter. Our recent social commitment led us to La Concepción, Palencia, Guatemala, where a team of over 30 dedicated volunteers from Porsche Latin America and our Guatemalan representatives from Grupo Los Tres worked together to make a significant impact on local families' lives by building 7 new homes. We also reached a milestone by contributing to TECHO's 6,000th house in Guatemala, reinforcing our partnership's positive impact and commitment to the region. Our country partner and exclusive brand importer, Grupo Los Tres, will also provide water collection systems for the new homes, ensuring sustainable access to clean water. They have also pledged an additional house, bringing the total to eight new homes for the community. Despite challenging weather, our team worked harmoniously with volunteers to complete this mission. We're honored to have helped make the dream of dignified housing a reality for these Guatemalan families. This project drives positive change beyond the road, embodying our dedication to social responsibility and community development. Last week we were present at Monterey Car Week, in California, a true celebration of automotive excellence. We were immersed in a world of classic cars, luxury automobiles, and cutting-edge motorsports. One of the highlights was our encounter with designer Luca Trazzi, his dog Otto, and his stunning 911 Speedster, a Sonderwunsch Factory One-Off creation. We had an insightful conversation with Trazzi about his collaboration with Porsche, exploring how his unique vision came to life through meticulous design and craftsmanship. A fun fact: the color "Otto Yellow" was named in honor of his four-legged best friend. A thorough conversation with Alexander Fabig, Vice President Individualisation & Classic at Porsche, provided us with valuable insights into the brand's commitment to personalization. The experience was further enriched by the prestigious events such as the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, The Quail: a Motorsports Gathering, and the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. The true highlight, however, was encountering "Edith"—a modified 911 that set a world altitude record of 6,734 meters in Chile. After watching a film about her remarkable achievement, we were open-mouthed. This feat perfectly exemplifies Porsche's relentless drive to push boundaries and champion innovation. All in all, it was a delightful week. We enjoyed a unique road trip aboard classic Porsche models along the stunning coastal roads of California. We shared many memorable moments with fellow sports car enthusiasts who, like us, truly appreciate the power and beauty of these magnificent machines. #PorscheLatinAmerica #MontereyCarWeek #Classic Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance

More than 300 lucky enthusiasts got to live out this fantasy during the fourth edition of the Porsche World Road Show in Puerto Rico. The 11-day event included a journey of over 150-miles from San Juan to Santa Isabel and Yabucoa, offering an engaging and immersive driving experience. Participants had the opportunity to test drive iconic Porsche models such as the iconic 911, 718, Panamera, Cayenne, and their E-Hybrid versions, with over 20 model variants. One of the main highlights of the event was the exclusive sneak preview of the new all-electric Macan, which made its debut in Latin America for the first time before its official arrival to the markets. Additionally, the latest Taycan model was available for test drives. Guests had the opportunity to firsthand experience the enhanced performance, reduced charging times, and extended range of this next-generation model. What a season it was for our Formula E Team! They achieved a historic milestone, showcasing the true power of teamwork and innovation. On July 21 in London, Pascal Wehrlein clinched the Formula E World Championship title behind the wheel of the highly efficient Porsche 99X Electric. This monumental victory marks Porsche's second major title in Formula E, following British driver Jake Dennis from the Andretti customer team, who claimed the championship in 2023 with the same car. In the 2023/2024 season, our fifth in Formula E, we saw remarkable improvements in performance and consistency, leading to many records for Porsche. Pascal Wehrlein secured pole position and dominated the season opener in Mexico, setting the tone for the rest of the season. The works team achieved six more victories in Misano, Berlin, Shanghai, Portland, and London, breaking records along the way. With seven victories in one season, the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team surpassed the record previously held by the Renault e.dams team in season 3. Wehrlein not only became World Champion but also earned the title of best qualifier. His teammate, António Félix da Costa, matched his 2020 record with three consecutive wins, finishing the season with four victories. Andretti driver Jake Dennis added to the success, bringing the total number of wins for the Porsche 99X Electric to eight. This achievement comes 40 years after Porsche's TAG Turbo engine revolutionized Formula 1. Unlike the early days, Porsche's latest triumph is as a fully-fledged team that has significantly developed every aspect of the car. We want to celebrate this landmark victory as it is a testament to our mission to push the boundaries of what's possible in motorsports. The future is electric, and Porsche is leading the charge! #PorscheLatinAmerica #FormulaE #Motorsport #Innovation #ElectricVehicles Formula E Holdings

At Porsche Latin America, we are dedicated to making a positive impact beyond the automotive industry. Through our partnership with Diesa S.A. , our exclusive importer in Paraguay, and TECHO | TETO, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for families in need. Our goal is to construct habitable spaces that shield these families from severe weather conditions, help prevent diseases, and provide them with the opportunity for a dignified life and better development prospects.  Our aim in Paraguay is focused on constructing homes and providing technical training in automotive mechanics. These initiatives are generating a lasting impact on vulnerable communities. One particularly inspiring story is Cinthia González's one, a seamstress and mother of three. Opening her home-based sewing workshop was once an unattainable dream. Today, it has become a reality, enabling her to generate income while caring for her children, by the benefit of this program.  Porsche's contribution is geared towards offing families a sense of security and helps propel them towards a brighter future.
