With just $700, I made two critical purchases: a reliable laptop and a round-trip plane ticket. Hours after touching down in Austin, I secured my first major contract— a five-figure deal that set the stage for everything that followed. My secret to success isn’t talent, luck, or timing —it’s consistency. After 16 years as an entrepreneur, I’ve realized that showing up every day— especially when it feels like nothing is working— is the most important thing I’ve done. Success isn’t glamorous 100% of the time; it’s the small, uncelebrated moments that move you forward. Here’s why consistency matters: ✔️ It builds momentum. → Every small step you take compounds. → Small actions lead to breakthroughs. ✔️ It creates trust. → Clients, partners, and even your audience start to notice when you show up. → It shows you’re committed and reliable. ✔️ It sets you apart. → Most people quit too soon. They get discouraged when results don’t come quickly, but those who stay consistent? → They’re the ones who succeed in the long run. Consistency doesn’t promise instant success, but it guarantees progress. Progress, compounded over time, creates the results you’re aiming for. My proposal was rejected. My article was rejected. A contract was canceled at the last minute. I could have taken those as signs to stop. But I didn’t. Here’s the truth: Rejection is part of the process. Every "no" is just a step toward the next "yes." Instead of giving up, I kept going. I revised the proposal.
