Employee experience is often seen as a nebulous concept in HR. You hear about its significance and the remarkable results everyone else is experiencing, but it can be challenging to justify financially. However, research from PwC provides compelling evidence that investing in employee experience pays off beyond engagement and retention — it delivers tangible financial returns. PwC analyzed eleven factors of the employee experience, from well-being, training, and development opportunities to leadership and compensation. The results revealed that investments in all areas can lead to a 12.6% increase in annual savings through reduced absenteeism, resignations, and enhanced productivity. Before deciding where to put your resources, determine which areas you’re doing well in, need improvement, and which areas need an overhaul. Take some time to discover the path that’s right for your organization as it varies from company to company. This is a time for CFOs and HR leaders to come together. HR leaders can advise CFOs on the organization's strengths and weaknesses, and give CFOs a better view of what their people need to succeed. Are you ready to invest in enhancing your employee experience? You don’t have to go through the process alone. We can help you find your path to improving employee experience, and provide the technology to make it seamless. Contact us to get started. #EmployeeExperience #HumanResources

As we get further into the summer, many employees look forward to taking time off for a well-deserved vacation. However, you may not be aware they’re on a vacation. Quiet quitting may have been your main concern, but quiet vacationing is up next. Quiet vacationing is when employees secretly take time off while pretending to be active at work. They’re available on Slack and attend virtual meetings. They schedule emails and other messages to go out at specific times so you don’t notice something is off. According to a recent CNBC-Harris Poll, 37% of employees have taken time off without their employer’s knowledge. 31% even admitted to “moving their mouse” to maintain their online status. The reason why: 49% of employees say they get nervous asking for time off. Let’s normalize requesting vacation time so employees feel more comfortable. Managers and supervisors should take time off as well. Employees need to see management take a vacation or two every once in a while. Rest and relaxation allows us to rejuvenate, de-stress, and detach from work. No one should feel anxious or uncomfortable to ask for a few days of “me” time. It’s important to foster a company culture of open communication and employee well-being. Encourage employees to openly discuss their vacation plans and don’t forget to lead by example. #HumanResources #EmployeeExperience

Consider these key numbers from a Credit Karma study: almost 20% of people 59 and older lack a retirement account, and 17% of individuals say they’ve lowered their contributions due to inflation. The younger generations’ finances may not get any better since only a handful of fresh graduates can boast of having learned helpful financial knowledge in school, such as: ▪️ How to create a budget ▪️ Debt management ▪️ How to file taxes ▪️ Savings strategies, both long-term and short-term ▪️ How to invest ▪️ Retirement planning It’s disappointing to see our educational system fall short on financial literacy. But where there is a problem, there also lies an opportunity. You can provide financial wellness benefits and resources to solve one of their most significant pain points: their finances. 56% of employees distracted by their finances say they spend three or more hours a week dealing with personal finance issues. Here’s your opportunity to step in and offer support. What does this help look like? You can create a financial wellness program or strategy that offers: ▪️ Educational workshops and seminars ▪️ Financial planning services ▪️ Retirement planning programs ▪️ Subscriptions to financial management tools That said, while revamping your benefits programs, consider offering other benefits that alleviate employees' financial burdens, such as tuition reimbursements, HSAs, and FSAs. This is a strategic moment to bridge the gap in financial literacy and support your employees in achieving economic stability and success. https://hubs.ly/Q02CPt_Z0... #EmployeeBenefits #Human Resources

Don’t be fooled into thinking that HR is only payroll, benefits, policies, compliance…basically, all of the boring stuff. HR is much more than that. As HR managers and professionals, we build relationships throughout the organization and effectively aid managers with: 💠 Talent acquisition and employee relations 💠 Enhancing organizational culture 💠 Facilitating change management 💠 Aligning business goals between managers and employees We don’t have to wait for a reason to meet with key managers. Check in with them and put your ear to the ground to listen out for developing issues. It’s crucial to bring the HR perspective to incidents and situations. In those moments, we can offer guidance, connect the right people, and provide valuable resources, all of which enhance decision-making and strengthen the organization. Let’s shift our perception and recognize HR for what it truly is: a strategic partner. Remember, HR is at the heart of every organization’s growth and sustainability. Let’s embrace our role and make a lasting impact. #HumanResources
