Catania was truly amazing! I attended #Gen_E 2024, the largest European festival for entrepreneurship and economic education, as well as the European finale for all JA student companies, with our student company blockbaytoys The Gen-E Festival in Catania, Sicily was simply impressive. So impressive that it took me almost a week to reflect on the whole experience 👀😉 But better late than never. A pitch in a church on a 60 m² stage, a top-notch jury interview, various workshops, a minor eruption of the Etna, and much more awaited us during this fantastic event. It was a great honor to represent Germany with our student company blockbaytoys in this competition 🤩🌋🇩🇪 And this isn’t the end! The evenings were just as exciting as the days: fun and engaging award dinners and parties where networking was at the forefront. When was the last time you spoke with people from over 40 different nationalities? This experience was truly unique and offered a fantastic opportunity to see Europe from a whole new perspective - an entrepreneurial and creative one. 🎇🙌 And the best part: Our team won two awards! We are incredibly proud of the Best Project Management Award, presented by Olivier Lazar with the help of the Project Management Institute and the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF). This award honors teams that have excelled in integrating project management into their product through outstanding planning, organization, innovation, and implementation. Additionally, I had the honor of winning the Alumni Leadership Award, supported by Nestlé and JA Alumni Europe, bringing the award to #Wuppertal! A heartfelt thanks to Frederique Naulette, Loran Geskens and all involved JA Alumni for this fantastic award. These recognitions are a great testament to our hard work and #dedication. I am incredibly proud of our amazing team. Teamwork makes the dream work.😍🏆 A warm thank you to Salvatore Nigro and the whole JA Europe and JA Italia team, for the amazing organisation and hosting of the Gen-E 24 Festival.
