Promatech is currently working with the Delaware River Port Authority Office of Business Development & Equal Opportunity [OBD&EO] to provide DBE Outreach support. The first A.C.E Series [Authentic Communication, Collaboration, Equity Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging] outreach event was held on April 25th, focusing on the ins and outs of the DRPA. The most recent event took place on June 27th, with a focus on Business Development; presentations included Marketing and Business Development by Lauren Herman (Associate Vice President and Regional Marketing Manager, Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson) and Communications and Capabilities Statement by Ellen Neylan (Founded and Owner of Surety Bond Associates). Promatech's role for the event series is event development, coordination, and promotion. The events have been well attended and informative for W/M/S/DBE certified firms. The next outreach event will take place on August 22nd, the topic is Teaming. This event will feature an expert panel of primes and subs from both Professional Services and Construction firms who will offer insights to teaming relationships.
