Yesterday we welcomed 10 new colleagues at our UK Induction from across our claims teams. We love celebrating the achievements of our people and being part of their development, at every stage of their careers. This week we are turning the spotlight on three of our Graduates and our HR Manager. 🎓 Graduates Edward Newby, Graduate Property Claims Handler, George Wraith, Graduate Risk Engineer, and Tom SL, Graduate Broker Service Coordinator, passed the Chartered Insurance Institute Level 2 Award for the Foundation Insurance Test (FIT) qualification. Our Casualty Claims Team are feeling refreshed and re-energised following a fabulous away day hosted at the luxurious Carden Park Hotel. The event started with an introductory speech, detailing exciting growth plans for the team with new progression opportunities available, before being treated to an à la carte menu with some excellent entertainment provided by colleagues. After a restful night, the team attended an Introduction to Insights workshop delivered by our L&D Advisor Gemma Duffy, to learn more about our different thought and communication styles to help us build better connections. This was immediately put to the test by the afternoon's fun activities, starting with the 'Globetrotters' challenge with ClueGo UK, followed by an archery and air rifle competition. It's so important for our people to get time away from the BAU to focus on team development and team building, particularly with hybrid working being our norm, to enable our unique relationships to flourish. It also provides a great opportunity to connect with key stakeholders from other teams; this time we were joined by leadership colleagues, plus our Deputy CCO Lisa Allcock and HR Manager Carrie Vickers.
