14hrs and 40minutes after they set off from Dover, with difficult tides and winds, busy shipping lanes and pesky jellyfish to contend with, they landed on mainland Europe around 1hr ago... Tired, beaten up, and emotionally drained, but so so proud of themselves. We’ll say it one last time, these are 12 & 13 year old children swimming in skins, accross the English Channel, starting at 02:30… 🤷🤯 Thanks to Emulous Water for teaming up with us for some sponsorship. The incredible Titans from Taunton School, a team of 12 and 13 year old children, set off on there channel relay at 02:30 this morning. They are currently around 20km into the crosssing, right in the heart of the shipping lanes now, with all the swimmers doing extremely well. Here are a few pictures of a pump station we have recently installed, and commissioned for new customer. The brief was that the client is having a new facility built during the six weeks of the summer holidays and the new facility is lower than the existing pump station on site. With this in mind and the tight timeframe, we recommended a package pump station. With a deadline of six weeks to complete the works and only receiving the order two weeks ago, the turn around time by our team at Pump Supplies is very impressive. Was great to so see such an incredible turnout at the Wessex Water five aside football tournament on Saturday.
