OREO and PXP Brazil achieve serious buzz with “OREO Wandinha” aka Wednesday from the Addams Family! With the Addams Family being well-known in Brazil, the latest OREO campaign featuring Wandinha has generated significant buzz across the country with customized products and a fantastic promotion for consumers. For PXP Brazil, this was a major project. It included two days of shooting with 120 workers and the pleasure of collaborating with Leo Burnett Tailor Made and Netflix on such a significant project. From renting a working aeroplane to making it literally rain on set, this project was about overcoming challenges one by one to create two beautiful films. The team is proud to share that they made a concerted effort to ensure the project was sustainable, achieving zero plastic and zero waste on set, implementing proper waste disposal, and compensating for carbon emissions. If given the opportunity to produce a commercial featuring "Paradise City" by Guns N' Roses, would you pass it up? #PXPBrazil certainly did not! When the team brainstormed ideas on how to bring the iconic Honda Sahara motorcycle back to the market, they knew it meant taking a nostalgic drive into that era. And what better way to do that than with an iconic soundtrack? When the negotiations with the band worked out, they knew they were halfway there. Filming the scenes was like a trip down memory lane, with the set filled with vintage items. It was a time of nostalgia and creativity for the entire crew throughout the production process. Ad Age asked industry insiders and executives to share their thoughts on trends that will shape the second half of 2024. Vin Farrell and the PXP leadership team weigh in: "The conversation around social media’s influence on culture as a mental health issue will further accelerate. There will be regulations placed on social platforms like how substances are treated in the marketing arena. This will foster new rules, barriers and boundaries when marketing in these spaces, especially towards youth. Pinterest is becoming a force for good amongst Gen Z. Usage is up and driving renewed buzz around the creative platform. The root functionality and purpose are not based on addictive doom scrolling—it’s seen as a creative expression platform for positivity. This past week they announced new tools to help users convert Pinterest boards into socially friendly videos that can be shared."
