🌿 🌿Yesterday, our PYN social media team visited Greener Partners' Urban Farming Teen Internship in West Philadelphia! We were inspired by the high school interns learning how to grow and cook food with urban farmers and educators in the Belmont neighborhood. During their 4-6 week paid summer internship, these teens are diving into urban farming, food sovereignty, and sustainability while developing essential skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. The hands-on experience includes garden planning, planting, harvesting, and composting, plus exploring food justice and community service. It's incredible to see these young leaders in action and how they're contributing to their community. 🌻👩🌾 #PYNtern #SummerJobSeason #UrbanFarming #FoodJustice #YouthEmpowerment #PYN #GreenerPartners
