Today, we join the World Health Organization (WHO) and its partners around the globe in recognizing #WorldHepatitisDay.  Globally, there are over 200 million undiagnosed and untreated individuals living with hepatitis. Despite advancements in treatment, deaths from the virus are increasing: in 2022, 3,500 people a day – 1.3 million a year – died of hepatitis-related causes.  The WHO has set a goal to eliminate viral hepatitis by 2030 through developing more advanced testing, expanding access to diagnostic tools, and encouraging the use of vaccinations. Today, we celebrate the United Nations's World Youth Skills Day, established in 2014 to celebrate the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship. Here at Quantori, we are committed to this cause. Through our Quantori Academy programs, including programming schools for youth (like our Python, QA, and other schools) and kids, we strive to equip the younger generation with useful skills to enter the IT field with knowledge and experience, helping them to make the world a better place. We are immensely proud to have been part of this season's Technovation Girls! This year, nearly 11,000 girls from 69 countries developed 3,200 tech solutions, tackling issues ranging from elder care to air pollution.   Quantori's Ilya Vasilchenko served as a judge and remarked, "As a first-time judge, it was truly inspiring to support talented teams of young girls from around the world as they developed their innovative tech products."   Congratulations to all the participants—you are all changemakers!
