Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the 26th annual Realcomm | IBcon conference. There was a definite buzz of energy and excitement as the industry gathered for a week of education, networking and collaboration, along with some Florida style FUN! The week started off with a record turnout Tuesday morning for the 9th Annual Golf Outing and Charity Event supporting Stacks+Joules. Later that afternoon, dozens attended the Real Estate Innovation Tech Tours, offering attendees an opportunity to participate in behind-the-scenes tours of several of Tampa's most innovative projects and experiences. Wednesday was filled with preconference meetings, capped off by the Welcome Reception later in the evening to kick off the event. Two days of conference activities followed on Thursday and Friday, including the General Session, Digie Awards presentation, Best Practice and AI/Process Automation Showcases, more than 50 education sessions, 300+ speakers, and an exhibitor hall that included the leading innovative technology products and services. It was an event like no other in our industry! In Memoriam: Honoring Charles Meyers, Industry Leader and Realcomm Lifetime Achievement Recipient Charles Meyers, a pivotal figure in the real estate and technology sectors, was a long-time committed employee of Wells Fargo Bank, where he served as a Senior Executive in the property group from 2001 to 2021. He played a key leadership role in Wells Fargo’s construction of one of the worlds most connected high-rise buildings and was instrumental in launching the bank’s smart building program impacting millions of square feet of commercial space globally. Charles was a dedicated participant in the Realcomm Community since 2003 where he proactively shared his experience and cultivated conversations around very important topics.
