As we prepare to ring in the New Year at Red Collar Pet Foods, we also prepare to officially transition our associates in Miami, Oklahoma to Nestlé Purina North America on January 1. It’s a proud and bittersweet moment all wrapped into one! For as long as I’ve known the people in Miami, I’ve been impressed with their can-do attitude and determination. They started 25 years ago as a Doane Pet Care facility making T-Bones. In 2006, they became the “Little Engine that Could” at Mars Petcare and in 2018 they were the obvious gem of our treats manufacturing network at Red Collar. With their unwavering commitment to safety, quality and values, they will continue their legacy in this exciting new chapter at Purina.
