Huge shoutout to Charles Antis, KLOS, Wing Lam, Wendy Ellis for their incredible support of our 43rd annual KLOS Blood Drive, helping ensure patients have the blood they need during this critical need. Always bringing the energy and love! Let’s roll up our sleeves and crush this need
…On Friday, I got excited talking about “blood-types,” on Klos 95.5 Fm’s, “Heidi & Frank Show,” tho I promise I’m not vying for Sean Inoue’s job at American Red Cross Los Angeles Region!😆🤣 …It’s true, —everything Sean says, and “we can’t make it!” —So please give at American Red Cross! #giveblood #roofingcontractor #keepingfamiliessafeanddry Wing Lam Wendy Ellis Bobby Przybylski

This summer marks the 76th year the American Red Cross in Los Angeles has hosted Leadership Development Camp (LDC) for high schoolers and college students. I spent a day with these "campers" and saw first-hand the energy and passion they have to be humanitarian leaders of tomorrow. For a week each August, over a hundred delegates from the greater Los Angeles communities come together to engage in a transformative experience. Hosted at a camp nestled in the picturesque San Bernardino mountains, the youth build confidence, hone public speaking and leadership skills, learn the value of teamwork, and deepen cultural understandings. The skills and friendships formed here last a lifetime.

The Park Fire, now historically California's 4th largest wildfire, has destroyed nearly 400,000 acres in northern CA. The Red Cross is on the scene, providing shelter, meals, and recovery resources. LA's super volunteer Carmela Burke, with nearly 100 disaster responses is also in the region to aid the thousands affected. Our hearts ache for all impacted, but with Carmela's extraordinary leadership, the displaced communities are in capable hands.
