  • Who's ready for Splish Splash!? Here are a few 'know before you go' details: On-site Parking Availability: Parking at Middle Branch Park may be limited due to another event happening in the park on the same day. Additional parking will be available across Potee St at Medstar Harbor Hospital parking lot 1, near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Waterview Ave Road Closures: The northbound lane of Waterview Ave between Potee Street to Erick Street will be closed this Saturday from 9am to 9pm, however the one-way southbound lane will remain open. The park will still be accessible from the southbound lane. As such, please make sure you plan accordingly to account for additional travel time, as the reduction of travel lanes may cause delays. This series is for individuals serving nonprofits that want to better understand their organization’s finances and how implementing best practices can help their organization be even more successful and transformative within their communities. Canton Kayak Club offers a fantastic kayak share program, giving members unlimited access to kayaks, paddles, and life jackets from multiple docking stations across central Maryland, from May to October.   • Today we're shining a bright spotlight on one of our incredible partners, Baltimore Community Rowing (BCR)! BCR promotes the sport of rowing for fitness, competition, and recreation for residents of the Baltimore Metro area. Whether you're looking to join an adult or youth team, learn to row, or get involved in community partnerships, they've got something for everyone. Plus, they offer Bow certificates and host youth programs throughout the year, with their most recent summer program that launched this month! "Baltimore Community Rowing is a member of the Patapsco Navy, a group that represents all stakeholders who row and paddle out of the Baltimore Rowing & Water Resource Center. Current programs under the boathouse roof include Institute of Notre Dame, Roland Park Country School, Loyola University, and University of Maryland Baltimore County, and the Baltimore City Recreation & Parks canoe and kayak program. The Patapsco Navy organizations collaborate on issues of safety, advocacy, and expanded access to the the Middle Branch of the Patapsco."
