It’s an incredible feeling to be able to say that Rep Ink ranked #13 in Jacksonville Business Journal's 2024 Fast 50 program. We don’t take this success for granted for even a millisecond. It’s been hard-earned and fought-after by the entire team since the agency’s inception in 2011. If you’re wondering what it’s like to work with us, Rep Ink Principal & President Michelle Calcote King does a great job of capturing our spirit in a single sentence: “We’re nice, kind people who also happen to do really great work.” If you want to get to know us better and learn exactly what drives us to produce great work, read Reputation Ink’s Fast 50 profile: https://lnkd.in/gp4GNA8G #Fast50 #JBJFast50 #PRagency

Technical expertise is the name of the engineering services marketing game. Prospects want partners who can provide clear-cut solutions to highly complex challenges. To convince them that your firm is the ideal choice, it’s not enough to just present the solution — you need to educate them and share real-world examples. In our new podcast episode, GinaRenee Autrey, Kleinschmidt Associates’ marketing and communications director, discusses what engineering services buyers find the most important when selecting a partner and how engineering firms can think outside the box to captivate their audiences’ attention with their content. National and global media coverage isn’t exclusive to BigLaw. Small and mid-sized law firms are just as worthy of having the spotlight on the big stage. Reputation Ink’s legal PR team works closely with clients to earn firms third-party credibility and raise their profiles with potential clients and referral sources. Through strategic pitching, trade media placements and award recognitions, our team helped Ehrenstein|Sager and its attorneys highlight their deep expertise, noteworthy casework and accomplishments at a greater scale than previously reached. Humbled. Proud. Grateful. Inspired. Ecstatic. There are so many ways to describe how it feels to be recognized as one of Jackonville’s fastest-growing companies for a second year. Our agency was built from the ground up by a single human — the wonderful Michelle Calcote King — with sharp determination and an iron will to deliver the best value to clients. A decade later, Rep Ink is a small army of savvy PR, marketing and creative professionals (and growing). Jacksonville Business Journal’s Fast 50 list represents businesses that “boomed during the good times, that grew even when the economy shrank, [and] that stand as an example of what ingenuity, hard work and creativity can lead to.” Thank you to Steven Gallo for representing us at the awards ceremony! https://lnkd.in/grkb9zus #JBJFast50 #Fast50

What are Shakespeare and Dr. Seuss doing in technical articles about hydropower engineering? GinaRenee Autrey talks about Kleinschmidt Associates’ creative approach to thought leadership, and how it’s led to off-the-charts engagement rates and millions of dollars in revenue for the engineering firm in our new podcast episode. GinaRenee and Michelle also discuss how marketing teams can help their subject-matter experts become better speakers, engineering services buyer behavior, generative AI in marketing and more. This is one piece of news we’ve been bursting with excitement to share! Jessi Bruton has joined our ranks as a senior creative director. We’re thrilled to introduce Jessi and her thoughtful approach to creative solutions for our clients and partners. Throughout her two-decade career, Jessi has built a reputation for delivering impactful designs that artfully blend visual storytelling and targeted messaging. In fact, Jessi’s trophy shelf is sparkling with merits from the American Advertising Federation, Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International, and American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Jacksonville. “I have known Jessi both personally and professionally for many years, and it was always a goal of mine to offer her tremendous skills and insights to Reputation Ink’s AEC and legal clients,” said Michelle Calcote King, Reputation Ink’s principal and president. “Jessi’s approach to creativity combines both design and copy to deliver visual communication and messaging that drives impact far greater than the sum of each part. She works to intimately understand a client’s positioning and message and then convey that through her designs, adding value and the right visual dimension for every situation.” If you want to break the ice and kick off a passionate conversation, ask her about the best recipe in her handwritten cookbook or the newest addition to her garden. During OSHA Safe + Sound Week, organizations are encouraged to highlight the programs and methods they’ve adopted to improve workers’ health and safety. With one of the highest fatality rates of any industry in the country, getting safety communication and messaging right is a key priority across the construction industry. If you’re looking for ideas to expand your internal and external communication strategy, Rep Ink’s Marja Martinez suggests a few ideas in her blog post, “Going for gold: how to build a reputation as an AEC industry safety leader”: 🦺 Create a dedicated safety page on your website with readily accessible information about your health, safety and environment (HSE) program, project-specific safety plans, the safety training you provide all your craft workers, and other safety commitments. 🦺 Develop an annual safety-focused campaign to remind employees of your company’s safety commitments and resources. This could come to life in the form of an internal employee newsletter with weekly safety reminders or a month-long social media campaign highlighting team members in the field who are going above and beyond. They say the best writers are avid readers — and we hold that idea close to our hearts. In 2023, Reputation Ink created a book club for our employees to gather, exchange experiences and reflect on the latest industry best practices. The book club is a tangible part of our commitment to invest in our team’s ongoing professional learning and development.
