It was great to spend a couple days this week traveling with our partners from Gemaire Distributors / Watsco, Inc. Appreciate visiting Gemaire’s Carrollton, TX branch and honored to host and share Rheem’s A2L training, support, and production readiness across our US Air Distribution Center, Lewisville Innovation Learning Center, and Nuevo Laredo HVAC plant. I sincerely appreciate getting to know Zachary Linde, Ken Plummer, Michael Bushnell, Brian Memoli, Jake Barr, and Ishmael Valle this week. Zac & team - thanks for your partnership! Thanks also to Pedro Palafox, Rodrigo Cedeno, and Enrique Noche for representing Rheem Manufacturing well.

Before the July 4th holiday, Rheem employees celebrated their wellness journeys and a milestone accomplishment of earning more than 14,500 miles and donating $10,000 to Habitat to Humanity International alongside EVP HR & Communications Dipa Homer, VP Finance Water Campbell, Jason, and Habitat for Humanity International Corporate Development Officer Aaron Anderson. Using the Charity Miles app, more than 130 employees volunteered to log their biking, walking, or running miles to support Habitat’s mission of helping to provide safe and affordable housing to families in need. https://lnkd.in/gkCQ6Mhq #HeartOfComfort #EveryMileMatters #RheemCares

The NFIA (Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency) invited Chris Peel, Greg Henry and Arno La Haye for a reception and round table discussions with The Netherlands royal couple, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima, the U.S. Ambassador to the Netherlands Shefali Razdan Duggal and Dutch Ambassador to the U.S. Birgitta Tazelaar at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. Attendees learned about our sustainability and decarbonization initiatives and The Netherlands' role in supporting Rheem’s Family of Brands, DEJONG and Intergas. Thank you, NFIA, for allowing us to share our industry-leading initiatives!

Executive Director NFIA for the Americas

This is a momentous week for NFIA Americas and the global Dutch community. Yesterday, we welcomed His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima for Day 1 of their visit to the United States.   The first stop for the Dutch royal couple? The “Peach State” of Georgia.   In the afternoon, the royal couple officially opened Netherlands-based NewCold’s state-of-the-art warehouse in McDonough, GA. Accompanying U.S. Ambassador to the Netherlands, Shefali Razdan Duggal, as well as Dutch Ambassador to the U.S., Birgitta Tazelaar, we spoke with businesses, associations and knowledge institutions related to further strengthening resilient supply chains.    Later in the afternoon, we toured the exhibition, “Dutch Art in the Global Age,” and enjoyed an evening reception at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, together with industry leaders from several of our key U.S. current investor companies.   The whole day was a great opportunity to celebrate U.S.-Dutch economic ties, which flow both ways across the Atlantic. In that vein, it was a pleasure to connect with American companies that are investing in the Netherlands to pursue innovative solutions in smart logistics, the energy transition, life sciences and others. The Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency and #InvestInHolland network are here to ensure that forward-looking companies can find the right place to land and grow in the Dutch ecosystem.   Last but not least, I am so proud of NFIA’s team in Atlanta for helping to organize key parts of this first leg of the Dutch royal visit. They’ve done an incredible job of working with our partners to get this all in place.   Of course, the week is not over. The next stop for the royal couple is the State of New York. Stay tuned for more updates later in the week!   #NLintheUSA #RoyalVisit #NLUSA
