Hello everyone! We are excited to highlight the fantastic work done by Neveah Askew over the Summer of '23. Neveah's supervisor at George Latimer Central Library (Saint Paul Public Library) shared some insight about their internship below: "Neveah Askew hit the ground running in her Right Track internship with the Innovation Lab at George Latimer Central Library. The Innovation Lab is a maker space for adults inside the library where members can create using a recording studio, media lab, 3-D printers, laser engraver, sewing machines, and more. One of the projects she worked on was helping develop and co-leading a brand-new workshop—Lightbox Photography. She shined at doing research, graphic design, and presenting as part of this project. The workshop was fully attended and received top scores when evaluated by participants. There was a deadline and pressure in getting a new workshop off the ground, but Neveah’s talent, positive attitude, and collaborative spirit made it a great success! " It's super exciting to see young people find enjoyment and success in their internships!
