A very exciting night on 7/11/24 at Rock Steady Boxing, Inc. where our founder Scott Newman and OG coaches Chris Timberlake and Kristy Rose Follmar were recognized by the Indiana Governor's office with the State's highest award, The Sagamore of the Wabash, for their contributions to the Parkinson's community in Indiana and around the world. They join a distinguished list of US presidents, actors, astronauts, and philanthropists to receive the award. There are none more deserving of the recognition.

It was the P5 students with the knockout! Brynn Serbin, Carter Comisford and Jack Hutchins presented a research poster at the Ohio Pharmacists Association conference which discussed our student involvement with Rock Steady Boxing, Inc. (RSB). RSB is a full body workout regimen where individuals with Parkinson's disease perform non-combat boxing exercises. Benefits of this Parkinson’s Neuro Boxing include increased strength, improved coordination, posture and balance. Our ONU American Society of Consultant Pharmacist student chapter have been partnering with the Senior Citizens Services (Lima) and Molly Scott, the certified RSB trainer, for the past two years to help deliver this program to seniors in the community. #onupharmacystudents #RocksteadyBoxing #opa #ohionorthernuniversity

Our pros had the opportunity to demonstrate some drills from our science-backed program.
