Rocket Community Fund
Philanthropic Fundraising Services
aiming to simplify complex and inequitable systems to ensure that every American has access to stable, healthy housing.
About us
In 2010, Quicken Loans (now Rocket Mortgage) moved its headquarters and 3,600 team members from suburban Detroit to the heart of downtown. Since then, Rocket Companies has grown to include more than 25,000 team members in downtown Detroit, as well as offices in Cleveland, Charlotte, and Phoenix. As our numbers have grown, so has our commitment to doing well by doing good. The Rocket Community Fund was created to harness the incredible power of our organization and find innovative ways to make an impact in each of our home communities. Through our investments, we believe we can create value not only for our business but for everyone. Our mission is to simplify complex and inequitable systems to ensure that every American has access to stable, healthy housing.

"When families have access to the right information and support, homeownership can create long-term financial stability and security. The Homeownership Wealth Initiative is a replicable program that will help residents across Atlanta and beyond to unlock the benefits of homeownership now and into the future.” --Laura Grannemann, Executive Director, Rocket Community Fund Launched in April, the Homeownership Wealth Initiative is a partnership with the National Black Empowerment Council and Goodwill of North Georgia to support #Atlanta residents with the resources and knowledge they need to become homeowners and build generational wealth. Because we're on a mission with Rocket Companies to help everyone home - and it is our hope that we can expand this program to other cities, to help more residents achieve the dream of sustainable homeownership. Our For More Than Profit approach is fundamental to Rocket Companies mission to help everyone home. We have a responsibility to the community, and it's this responsibility and our belief in a more equitable world that helps us break systemic barriers to access. Our Sr. Director of Marketing Communications, Rob Frappier, highlighted the philanthropic impact of our work in Detroit and across the nation to hundreds of power brokers partnering with Rocket Pro TPO. We want our partners to understand that our business and our communities are inextricably linked, and we have a responsibility to reinvest back into the community where we live, work and play. Because EVERYONE deserves a safe and stable home.

Exciting news: Thanks to a pilot project created by City of Detroit, Detroit Parks Coalition and Connect 313, free public wi-fi is now available at five Detroit parks! Visit the Bradby, Chandler, Clark, McDuffy and Palmer Parks to experience it for yourself. We were proud to support this project as part of our larger mission to help bridge the #digitaldivide in Detroit. "Access to the internet is a fundamental resource, and by bringing free Wi-Fi to these five parks, we’re not just creating spaces where everyone in Detroit can connect, learn, and thrive, but also making strides toward greater digital equity. This initiative reflects our commitment to making our parks multi-use, accessible and valuable resources for all residents.” --Sigal Hemy, Executive Director, Detroit Parks Coalition Learn More: https://bit.ly/3M46dIP (And speaking of increasing digital access, thank you to Autumn Evans, our Sr. Program Manager for Digital Equity and Inclusion who just celebrated her one-year anniversary with us).
