What an incredibly touching tribute from one of our funeral homes to recognize those lost in the tragedy of Winder, GA. It's always great to see how we can come together in support of each other in the face of such a horrible event. Our deepest condolences go out to all those affected in Winder.

WOW! What an incredible time in Charleston we had last week at our 2024 Annual Managers' Meeting! We had so many fantastic speakers and it was great to reunite with old friends and make some new ones as well. A huge thank you to everyone who presented and helped put this week on for us. Already looking forward to next year's meeting!

We wrapped up day two yesterday! We started off our morning with a presentation from Halcyon Death Care Management Solutions on all the new things their software has to offer. Then we had an inspiring presentation by one of our location managers on how one life can make such a difference. We also had a great discussion with Nicole Wiedeman, CSE, CTA from Dead Ringers on how to always strive for an excellent customer experience when it comes to our phones. We ended the night with our awards banquet and we congratulate all the winners! We were also so honored to have Chris Robinson, president-elect, of the National Funeral Directors Association come speak to us on the future of funeral service!

Day one of our Annual Managers' Meeting in Charleston, SC is in the books! It was so great getting to see everyone back together again and meeting some of the new faces as well. We started off the day with a presentation from Batesville talking about all their offerings. Fourth generation funeral director, published author, and speaker Antonio Green then gave a super insightful talk on how to successfully manage and create a collaborative work environment among the different generations you find in a funeral home. Homesteaders Life Company then spoke on the importance of putting a solid preneed program in place. We then ended the day breaking out into groups for roundtable discussions.

We were saddened to learn of the recent passing of Daniel G. Keenan of Daniel Keenan Funeral Home in Albany, New York. Dan's father, Daniel A., founded the funeral home in 1923 and Dan joined the family's firm in the 1950s. He served as the funeral home's president until 2001 and was able to celebrate the funeral home's 100th anniversary last year. In 2023, we were proud to welcome Daniel Keenan Funeral Home into Rollings Funeral Service. Dan was everything a funeral director should be and was devoted to serving his community as well. At this time, we offer our condolences to all Dan's family and friends.
