🌎 EUROCAE WG-124 #Spectrum and RTCA, Inc. SC-242 convened this week at RTCA HQ in Washington D.C. to advance the 'Report for Aeronautical Radio Frequency (RF) Systems, their Regulatory Framework, and Operational Considerations'. This report aims to serve as a key reference for non-aerospace spectrum stakeholders, facilitating productive discussions with the aerospace industry and informing Civil Aviation Authorities and International Civil Aviation Organization. ✈️ Additionally, the group is developing 'Spectrum Guidance for Developers of Standards for Aviation Wireless Systems'. This guidance ensures that the radio frequency (#RF) characteristics of aeronautical Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance (#CNS) systems are used efficiently while maintaining safe flight operations. It will help the aviation industry collaborate effectively with non-aviation spectrum users, ensuring the safe integration of new technologies critical to the progress of our industries. 🚀 #EUROCAE WG-124 and #RTCA SC-242 are seeking additional expert participation, notably ground systems expertise, from members to contribute to the creation of the Report and Guidance document.
