Saama's Kamal Raj recently attended the 62nd annual Association for Computational Linguistics conference in Bangkok, where he presented a poster on behalf of our team of AI experts. Recently, we tackled the challenge of simplifying biomedical research articles into concise, non-technical summaries that are easier for non-experts to understand. Our AI experts utilized a LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) model with unsupervised fine-tuning based on the abstracts of the articles, and implemented a unit to remove repeated sentences, ensuring the summaries were clear and succinct.
