WAS IT COVERED? "On the evening of July 4th, 2023, while celebrating Independence Day, a group of guests was using sparklers and small fireworks on the deck. A spark from one of the fireworks ignited a small fire on the wooden deck. The fire quickly spread, causing damage to the deck, patio furniture, and an exterior wall of the house before it was extinguished." Damages: - Deck: Severe burn marks and structural damage - Patio Furniture: Destroyed (table, six chairs, and an umbrella) - Exterior Wall: Charred siding and minor structural damage - Deck repair/replacement: $3,500 - Patio furniture replacement: $1,200 - Exterior wall repair: $1,000 Total Cost: $5,700 Shout out to our own Zach Grimes for the informative poll.

WAS IT COVERED? "The Guest Checked in on May 18th and, unfortunately, canceled their reservation immediately after discovering German roaches in the house. We made several attempts to appease the guests, but they were uncomfortable staying at the house and left later that evening. We called a pest control company and asked them to inspect the kitchen for suspected German Roaches. (German Roaches are not native to Florida and are only brought by traveling guests.) After the inspection, the pest control tech found evidence of German roaches in the kitchen." Total cost of inspection and extermination: $170.39 Safely
