In Alaska since 1898, The Salvation Army has continually provided assistance to Alaskans in need. With 17 Corps Community Center locations throughout Alaska in addition to various programs and services, our mission is to is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Through our programs and services, we provide disaster and emergency relief, senior day services, substance abuse treatment, food resources, youth summer camp, after-school care and education, emergency shelter, and spiritual encouragement
