30 BDRs, one month of effort, and these are only counting the meetings booked via Show Me You Know Me. By month four, Intapp saw a 72% increase in discovery calls. 🔥 Opens skyrocketed and replies like, "I'm only replying because you made an effort." were a dime a dozen. The kicker? Less than 500 emails were sent to get 303 replies and book 297 meetings. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 What would these kind of results mean for your team as you think about pipeline across inbound, outbound, and even referrals? The same thing happens every time we run our #SMYKM masterclass and pair it with teaching enablement and marketing teams how to write cadences. Just last week we heard from team Kimberly Pencille Collins trained on content, who paired it with the SMYKM we've been training them on for years, and who said, "We got a meeting on the FIRST email!!" ************************************************************************ With the rise of AI, your customers are craving sellers that make an effort. With sales being so different today, your sellers are craving to learn how to succeed in today's market. So, how to do it? ---> The first part is creating a subject line that stands out from the rest - an easy one for me would be: Nickelodeon + Speeding Tickets + Your Company Name The second part is a first sentence that dives right in to the SMYKM or doesn't start with "I hope this finds you well..." The third part is content that converts. Read your emails. Do they say what you do vs. the challenge you solve or what your differentiator is? Imagine getting these two emails from us - which one would pique your attention more: "We're a world class sales training organization that focuses on top of the funnel and can get you an average email open rate of 43%!" Or "We're an all-women team of 16 who teaches the exact opposite of every sales tactic that makes you want to reach for the Purell." Top of the funnel isn't hard, you just need to modernize your approach. And if you want a little more, come hang out with us and 400+ other registrants this Friday @ 12pm where I'll run through the perfect outbound email structure and then tackle your email submissions live to give you advice that will get your traction. https://lnkd.in/e_DHVFwY #samsales #saas #sales

I used to think newsletters were boring. 😬 You definitely wouldn't catch me advocating for starting one, much less sponsoring one. Now I'd say our newsletter is invaluable, and here's why: Trust. We're not going to show up on LinkedIn one way, and show up to meet you IRL another way. What you see is what you get, and you know our tips come from years of Samantha McKenna's expertise in sales and LinkedIn. Voice. When I first started writing our newsletters, I tried to mimic Sam's style and diction that she posted on LinkedIn. While it's evolved since then, we have a "signature scent" if you will (thanks Kimberly Pencille Collins) that's unlike any other. Some might say it's hilarious 😉 , but we're also encouraging constant learning and mastering of your craft while giving back wholeheartedly. Activation. You can activate our tips right away. Sure, we share market insights and trends, but our goal is to give you detailed instructions so that you have the agency to implement the tactics and start seeing results immediately. Centrality. Love #samsales content and want to stay up to date on the latest LinkedIn algorithm updates or workshops that interest you? The newsletter is the central hub that you'll get all the info you need. Humanity. You get to peek behind the curtain and get to know the team. We share updates about where we've travelled, birthdays and babies, and of course we team up to poke a little fun at each other. When you see us on LinkedIn or a sales training or a webinar, you feel like you know us. Thank you to people like McKenna Mendiola who take the time to write notes like this that make me beam!! 🤗

  • We always love joining the 30 Minutes to President's Club podcast because they pack a ton of details into 30 tactical minutes.    In this episode, Samantha joins Nick Cegelski and Armand Farrokh to discuss how you can close deals faster by preparing for all of the potential pitfalls in advance. A couple of the actionable takeaways include:   ⚡ Schedule regular meetings with your champion to maintain deal momentum and reduce scheduling friction. ⚡ Schedule multiple next steps simultaneously if they're not dependent on each other to accelerate the deal. ⚡Determine whether the prospect will present, ask, or inform the board about the purchase, and prepare accordingly. ⚡ Ask your champion questions that they might not know, prompting them to involve higher-ups who can provide answers.   Want a sneak peek? (We know you do!) Watch the clip below or head on over to watch the entire episode on YouTube!

  • Exec: "We haven't budgeted for a LinkedIn strategy." 👈👈 How many of you keep running into this budget objection from your execs?   That’s often the case, but we can help. Look at the budgets associated with your low ROI marketing campaigns – third party syndicated content, PPC ads, sponsorships, repeating your attendance at a conference that didn’t quite drive the lead conversion you’d hoped for, and so on.   Take a look at this as an easy way to reallocate budget: the lowest ROI conference you spent money on last year. What did that run you all-in? $50K? $500K?    And what happened? You planned for weeks (months?), you sent a handful of reps (who looked at their phones in the booths), you might have paid-to-play for a speaking slot, and you came home with an attendee list, a couple dozen booth scans, and not much to show from it.    And what happened after the conference? Other than the chats with sales, and the marketing emails you sent them that have a 2% open rate, no one from the conference heard from you again. Instead, reallocate some or all of this spend to a LinkedIn strategy. You’ll not only create a drip campaign of content that these attendees and hundreds/thousands of people will see every day, but you’ll work with our team to systematically grow your audience and drive leads to your organization every single day. We've outlined the top 5 objections that we hear about LinkedIn AND our rebuttals - take them to your leader and DM us to chat about elevating your #LinkedIn strategy!

Content marketing has never been harder and attention is a currency we're all fighting for. So, how to stand out? Three critical things here: 💡 One, if you're in B2B sales, your buyers are on LinkedIn. You're either part of the conversation and what they're reading, or you're not. If you're not, that likely leaves you in the spot of being a faceless company that continues to compete in a sea of expensive (ineffective) SEO, of 100's of emails, or ads abound that rarely convert to real dollars. 💡 Two, original thought leadership is key, not promotional, auto-shared company content. People come to LinkedIn to learn, not to be sold. Your content strategy needs to differ based on if you're early stage, looking for product market fit, or up to Fortune 500, and everything in between. Plus, the bigger you are, the more critical it is that you show up on LI. You have competition at your same level (read: hard to differentiate), you have competition that is younger and greener (read: more nimble + likely already here), and you likely ARE seen as that faceless company that could easily pivot by building trust here. 💡 Three, if "We posted today, where are the leads?!" is part of your narrative, you'll fail fast. Same as, "I worked out today, where are my abs?!". You have to trust the process here. Showing up here is about building trust, demonstrating expertise, showing your authority on a topic/your space, and allowing your readers to build rapport with you, all before they ever engage, connect, or inbound. Meet your buyers where they are and modernize your strategy. Your competition is either on LinkedIn, and you need to catch up, or they're not, and you have a competitive advantage. #samsales #LIEB

  • You have a great discovery call but there's not a clear path forward...leaving you unsure how to close the call. Rather than saying “next steps”, try something a little more buyer-centric: “How can I be of most support to you at this point?” It’s rare that our calls at #samsales don’t end this way, even the ones where we know what needs to happen next. Why? Because it’s the most non-salesy way you can say, “What do we need to do from here to keep moving?”. It’s open-ended and it’s broad (just as your kick-off question should be), and it usually leads to a whole hell of a lot of detail about exactly what needs to happen next and who to involve.   Bonus? It's one more way to stand out from the crowd of sellers who are talking about the transactional "next steps".   For more of our tips on discovery calls, watch our Discovery Call Breakdown Workshop (l*nk in comments!), or chat with us to train your teams on the #samsales framework!
