We envision a future where health justice is achieved for all people living with or at risk for HIV.
About us
San Francisco AIDS Foundation promotes health, wellness, and social justice for communities most impacted by HIV, through sexual health and substance use services, advocacy, and community partnerships. Founded in 1982, SFAF envisions a future where health justice is achieved for all people living with or at risk for HIV, ultimately striving for a day when race is not a barrier to health and wellness, substance use is not stigmatized, HIV status does not determine quality of life, and HIV transmission is eliminated. Each year more than 25,000 people rely on SFAF programs and services and millions more find advocacy tools and information they need online. Learn more at sfaf.org.

We are excited to share that Christopher Zolezzi has joined San Francisco AIDS Foundation's Board! Christopher has been involved with San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF) since 2004 when he rode in AIDS/LifeCycle for the first time. Since then, he has participated in AIDS LifeCycle 16 times as a rider, roadie, and volunteer staff member. He has also been a member of the Tribute planning committee since 2017. SFAF is near and dear to his heart because he has seen firsthand the positive impact it has on the community. “Health equity is a significant issue in this country, and SFAF provides access to health services that are crucial for survival. I am honored to have raised funds for SFAF over my tenure and to be on the Board.” Christopher is currently serving as Vice President at Goldman Sachs.

The San Francisco community mourns the loss of Reverend Cecil Williams as a titan in the social justice and civil rights movements of the Bay Area and the nation. Reverend Cecil Williams, in partnership with his late wife Janice Mirikitani, forged a social justice, and human rights community and movement that shaped and transformed social justice, human rights, and health services for the underserved through his liberation ministry at GLIDEsf that serves as a model for the nation. #CelebrateCecil
