What excites Quency Phillips most about joining San Francisco AIDS Foundation is "finding pathways, partnerships, and a strengthened purpose to connect the Black community - in particular Black men - to valuable resources, services, and programs." We are thrilled to welcome Quency to our Board! Renowned author, visionary and speaker, Quency has been building brands and cultivating communities for nearly 25 years; his brand is in a league of its own. Strong relationships and recognition for brand innovation in sports, philanthropy and not-for-profits have shaped his career. As Founder and CEO for Lighthouse Silicon Valley, Quency works to advance inclusive and equitable initiatives which advance economic mobility and leadership development for all. The proud father of a 3-year old princess, he's excited to use his network, dedication, and presence to scale opportunity and impact for San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

We are excited to share that Christopher Zolezzi has joined San Francisco AIDS Foundation's Board! Christopher has been involved with San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF) since 2004 when he rode in AIDS/LifeCycle for the first time. Since then, he has participated in AIDS LifeCycle 16 times as a rider, roadie, and volunteer staff member. He has also been a member of the Tribute planning committee since 2017. SFAF is near and dear to his heart because he has seen firsthand the positive impact it has on the community. “Health equity is a significant issue in this country, and SFAF provides access to health services that are crucial for survival. I am honored to have raised funds for SFAF over my tenure and to be on the Board.” Christopher is currently serving as Vice President at Goldman Sachs.

We are thrilled to welcome Chad Nico Hiu to San Francisco AIDS Foundation's Board! Chad comes to us with a deep and personally rooted commitment to SF AIDS Foundation’s mission of promoting health, wellness and social justice for communities most impacted by HIV, through sexual health and substance use services, advocacy and community partnerships. With over two decades of work in community development, global engagement and DEI, Chad is eager to be of support to the SFAF team and critical services, programs and advocacy provided during these challenging times for our communities here in San Francisco and beyond. A transplant to SF, he is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii by way of Chicago and New York City. Chad currently serves as the Senior Vice President for Strategy, Equity & Impact with the YMCA of San Francisco.

The San Francisco community mourns the loss of Reverend Cecil Williams as a titan in the social justice and civil rights movements of the Bay Area and the nation. Reverend Cecil Williams, in partnership with his late wife Janice Mirikitani, forged a social justice, and human rights community and movement that shaped and transformed social justice, human rights, and health services for the underserved through his liberation ministry at GLIDEsf that serves as a model for the nation. #CelebrateCecil
