Her attention to detail and commitment to accuracy contribute to our school libraries' seamless operation. Monica has consistently displayed outstanding organizational abilities, efficiently managing her workload, handling multiple tasks with ease, and meeting deadlines without compromising on quality. As well as being an excellent team player and a positive force, Monica provides training and support to junior staff and is always willing to share her knowledge and expertise. Highlighting our amazing #SCUSDDifferenceMakers! 🌟 Congratulations to Khadeejah Khan, a student from Santa Clara High School who embodies our core value of "Equity and Social Justice". Vice Principal Sharon Freeman says "Khadeejah cares deeply for all those around her, and advocates for her fellow students.  She has worked tirelessly with the Muslim Student Association over the years to bring a diverse group of speakers to campus, showcasing college life, job opportunities, and media portrayals of those in the Muslim community." We are #SCUSDproud to have Khadeejah as a part of our district community!

Let's show our appreciation for our awesome SCUSD Grounds Lead, Jason Medeiros with an #SCUSDspotlight! 👏🏽 Grounds, Maintenance, and Operations Director Adam Florez says, "Jason Medeiros, our Grounds Lead, has shown exemplary leadership while his manager was on leave. Jason ensured all graduation setups were flawlessly executed and personally acquired beautiful plants and flowers for each event. His dedication and attention to detail greatly enhanced the success and beauty of our ceremonies." #SCUSDproud ✨

A big thank you to the twenty-two volunteers from KLA, a local tech company, who came out to our farm and nature area, ready to dive into work in 80 and 90-degree weather! They rolled up their sleeves, laid woodchips in the nature area, cleared weeds, built flower beds, painted picnic tables, and painted a shipping container shed. It was a lot of work, and they all did it with enthusiasm and care. 🌱 #SCUSDkind

Show some 🧡 for our #SCUSDspotlight Thi Van! Thi is a lead accountant for the SCUSD Business department. Director of Fiscal Services Debbie Jones says, "Thi’s collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for learning is evident in the way she approaches her work as lead accountant, and she willingly shares her expertise with others. Thi sees challenges as opportunities to grow, improve processes and strengthen the team. She has established herself as a respected leader within the department. The District is fortunate to have employees like Thi!" #SCUSDproud ✨
