We were so saddened to hear of the passing of a longtime supporter, advisory board member, and friend. Taylor 'Skip' Obold served on the advisory board for more than 50 years, and was deeply committed to the mission of The Salvation Army and giving back to the community. Huen Electric was one of the generous sponsors that helped bring our 3x3 tournament, Turn-Around Jumpers, to Onondaga Community College on June 15. More than 92 teams registered, and more than $80,000 was raised to support the 33 programs of The Salvation Army in Syracuse. Looking for a fun volunteer opportunity for your team? We are still in need of a few volunteers for our 3x3 Basketball Tournament this Saturday, June 15 at Onondaga Community College. Last week our Emergency Food Pantry hosted this wonderful group of volunteers from Equitable. They sorted, re-stocked, and organized so we can continue to serve our hungry neighbors in Syracuse. Thank you Equitable, for your dedication to the community!
