One of the things that completely sold me on the 90-day world* is how it actually frees up our brain space! When we plan in 90-day increments, then our brains don’t get too distracted or unmotivated by something that feels like it’s just going on forever and taking so much longer. Even though shifting the way you do your business planning might feel like a new, big and bulky process to learn, when we backwards-plan our long-term vision it can actually decrease our feelings of overwhelm. Reaching a big goal doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, there are proven strategies to make it easier on ourselves. This is one of the things I love about quarterly planning. It’s truly a way to make plans and dreams of the future easier for our minds to digest so that we feel more confident in taking small steps to get to the BIG (sometimes scary) goal.
