Through the development of parks, land conservation efforts, thought leadership, active preservation of farms, and environmental advocacy, we work to guarantee that our communities and environment continue to thrive.

In December, the governor signed the Birds and Bees Protection Act — making NYS the FIRST IN THE NATION to ban the use of neonicotinoid pesticides (aka chemicals used to kill insects by affecting their nervous systems).
