Earlier this year, we completed an 8,000-square-foot interior buildout for Momentum Dance Studios, located in San Felasco Tech City, Alachua. This youth dance facility now boasts four spacious dance studios, office and administrative spaces, a kitchen, a costume room, a break area, and a study area for students. These enhancements create a well-rounded environment for both practice and support activities. Momentum Dance Studios has already experienced a busy summer with various camps and dance lessons. This addition offers perfect parking, location, and accessibility, making it an ideal choice for the community. 🌟Foundation Friday Spotlight: Florida Credit Union Headquarters🌟 A construction project offers countless learning opportunities as it progresses. It's truly fascinating to observe the various stages as a building begins to take shape. Before we can pour the slab and start going vertical, extensive site development and sitework must be completed.🚧🚜 Today, we're showcasing the concrete formwork and steel reinforcement for the mat foundations of the new Florida Credit Union Headquarters off Williston Road in Gainesville. These foundations are crucial for the stability and integrity of the structure, specifically for the elevators and stairs. ➡️West Footing Dimensions: 44' x 27' ➡️East Footing Dimensions: 55' x 27' These substantial mat foundations ensure the building's long-term durability and support. This past weekend, many of our Scherer team members enjoyed a fantastic time at the 60th Annual BANCF Fishing Tournament. Despite the heat, the fishing was excellent. We were honored to be the junior angler sponsor once again this year. Our Scherer team performed exceptionally well in the tournament. Gauge Robinson won 1st Place Red Snapper, Jordan Robinson secured 1st Place Cobia, and Wiley Dixon earned 2nd Place Junior Angler. Everyone had a great time, and we can't wait for next year. Our local blood banks are experiencing an all-time low, and our community is in dire need of blood donations. In response, we are launching a BIG Scherer Challenge with the goal of securing 20 blood donations this Thursday, June 27th. We challenge all our employees and local community members to give back, as you never know when you or a loved one might need a blood donation. 🚑 💉 Please mark your calendars and come to our Gainesville office this Thursday to give the gift of life by donating blood.
