🤝 We are pleased to share that Seatrium has awarded a Classification contract to the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) for the newbuild floating production storage and offloading vessels (FPSO) platforms P-84 and P-85. These FPSOs are the first to be awarded following our historic Technology Collaboration Agreement (TCA) with ABS, which aims to promote #decarbonisation, #digitalisation, and #innovation in the offshore and marine industry. The FPSOs will incorporate advanced technologies that enhance operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact. With features like zero routine flaring and venting, variable speed drives, and measures to control emissions and capture CO2, including an all-electric concept, we target to achieve a 30 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity. 🤝 Additionally, Seatrium and ABS are collaborating to drive #digitalcollaboration and enhance lifecycle services in the offshore, marine and energy sectors. Together, we are promoting a shift towards a Condition-based Class methodology, empowering asset owners with data-driven insights and streamlining maintenance practices. Our partnership will also focus on achieving operational excellence through joint trials and the qualification of 5G-based remote inspection solutions. This will revolutionise operational processes and enhance efficiency at Seatrium's yards globally. 💪 We are thrilled to collaborate with ABS and shape the future of the offshore and marine industry. Together, we aim to make significant advancements in decarbonisation, digitalisation, and innovation! #WeAreSeatrium #FPSO #OffshoreandMarineIndustry #digitalcollaboration #sustainability #decarbonisation
