https://lnkd.in/erJBCRE7 Are you accounting for the carbon footprint of your corporate cash? At Seventh Generation we were surprised to learn that our financial relationships account for roughly the same amount of emissions associated with our manufacturing. It's going to take the power of the collective to get the financial industry to move away from fossil fuels, but it's imperative that we do so. Many thanks to Topo Finance for their important work on this. To read more about how we evaluate the ways in which our our business operations dollars may indirectly support the fossil fuel industry, visit our Climate Fingerprints report - https://lnkd.in/eUj65p-X.

We’re on a mission to nurture home, people, and planet - for this generation, and the next seven generations to come.
About us
For the past 30 years, we’ve been a company with strong beliefs about the rights of people and planet. We’re a company that believes you have a right to know that the products you buy are safe for you, your family, and our environment. We believe that a company's values are as important as the products it makes. We know that plant-based products can provide exceptional efficacy, and that products designed from renewable plant-based ingredients are better for the planet than products made from petroleum. We believe that waste, is well... a waste. It's why we use recycled materials to design our packaging, and why we design our packaging to be recycled. We have a lot of beliefs, but the biggest one is that we have a responsibility to this generation and the next seven. What do you believe? We invite you in our journey to nurture the health of the next seven generations.

In our commitment to transform the world into a sustainable place for the next seven generations, last year we launched our Climate Fingerprints report: https://bit.ly/3SfNKNQ. The next evolution of our sustainability reporting, Climate Fingerprints analyzes how our business operations dollars may indirectly support the fossil fuel industry, in addition to traditional emissions reporting. A key learning for Seventh Generation is that our financial relationships account for roughly the same amount of emissions associated with our manufacturing.
