Perhaps this comes down to a sense of control over ones own business vs the industry trends and direction overall. If there was ever any question, we now know definitively that Facebook dominates the social media makeup of shed business in the USA. 🏆 This isn't that surprising since we know that many shed business tend to be a bit slower to adopt new technologies. We can see here that extends to social media platforms. However, it is interesting to see that there are some shed business that see fit to experiment with other platforms like X/Twitter and YouTube. 🧑🔬 And for the 5% that said none, I'd tell them that they're missing out on a massive marketing opportunity. But... assuming they're not using social media because they aren't on social media at all, then they probably won't see this post. 😫

🤩 Shed Suite Team Member Highlight: Itziar Urbieta León 🤩 I was born in the Canary Islands, Spain. I studied veterinary medicine, but at a certain point in my life, I discovered programming through a friend and fell in love with it. So, I completely changed what I was doing to enter the programming world. I moved to London to advance my programming career and met my partner there. The funny thing is, we were actually both born in the area, and our families live 40 only minutes away from each other! Now, we've been together for five years, dating for four, and married for one. As for my hobbies, I love reading, travelling, playing the drums and guitar, and spending time with my family and friends. Whenever I can, I return to my home country to visit my mother and my grandmother, who is 90 years old and is as energetic as ever! I joined Shed Suite in fall of last year as a front-end developer, but more and more am working on backend programming as well. It's bee great and and I'm excited to be on such an amazing team!

Say hello to another invaluable Shed Suite team member, full-stack developer Philip Kaim! 🗺️ Hailing from Saint Paul, Minnesota, and growing up in Tampa, Florida, Philip's journey has been as diverse as his skills. A tech enthusiast from a young age (did someone say iPod Touch jailbreaker?), he's always had a knack for both technology and sports, from video gaming to sprinting the 800-meter run in track and field. 🎮🏃♂️ 🎓 Philip's academic journey took an exciting turn at FGCU. Initially pursuing Physical Therapy, he discovered a deep-seated passion for software development in 2017, a field he has since embraced wholeheartedly. 💻✨ 🌾 Before getting into programming, Philip worked a little bit of this and a little bit of that: pizza delivery (pepperoni anyone?), restaurant foot prep, and scanning groceries with a smile at Publix. He even fondly recalls summer days working during his childhood: "As a kid, I would spend some time working at my friend's parents' farm. It involved a lot of hard work like racking up leaves, dumping them in a burn pile, and helping set up weddings. Despite the work, it was fun. I got to drive 'the mule', a high-powered golf cart, and play with goats, which were my favorite." 💪🧑💻 Outside of his role at Shed Suite, Philip's interests include weightlifting and honing his programming skills, showcasing his dedication to personal and professional growth.
