The Office of Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey is backing a bill to protect firefighters from exposure to PFAS, or forever chemicals, that are in their gear. Originally used because of their flame resistant qualities, it is now known that these toxins can cause cancer and be linked to other side effects. On Friday, July 12th, retired #Massachusetts pediatrician Dr. Richard Kauff pleaded not guilty to charges that he sexually assaulted 15 of his patients.
