Built in 1919, NRC Health at 1245 Q Street has undergone a restoration of its façade and an overhaul of its 120,000 square foot interior. The design team has created a cooperative office layout while remaining cognizant of the need for quiet, independent, and flexible workspaces. New floor openings and monumental stairs stretch between the lower level, first, and second floors to strengthen collaboration, interaction, and socialization while maximizing the distribution of natural light through the building. The lower level and first floor are connected through stadium seating and include informal and formal meeting spaces such as a game room, lounge, café, and conference rooms. The renovation is designed to support a hybrid workplace culture and pay tribute to the architectural integrity of the building through the inclusion of Art Deco elements in light fixtures, geometric patterns, and natural materials throughout the space. With 6 months of construction left, we would like to say thank you to the rest of the project team. Hampton Enterprises, Geri True Design, Olsson, SDG Structural, and WJE. Perched above downtown Lincoln, the Penthouse Condo at Lied Place Residences exudes luxury living. Working closely with the Owner, Sinclair Hille Architects meticulously crafted a space designed to showcase unparalleled city views and bespoke elegance. Highlights include a two-story living room with a balcony in the primary suite, a den featuring a hidden room beneath the stairs, warm white oak cabinetry for a touch of softness, and a twenty-foot-tall fireplace adorned with porcelain slabs, flanked by built-in speakers. Smart home integration offers pre-set lighting and audio scenes, all easily managed via remote-controlled systems. This sophisticated space seamlessly blends cutting-edge technology with timeless sophistication, setting a new standard for urban living. Let's give a warm welcome to our new Architectural Student Summer Intern, Sarah Maher! Sarah is entering her fourth year as an undergraduate Architectural Student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, where she is also minoring in Community Regional Planning. Originally from Cary, IL, Sarah honed her speaking skills through active participation in Speech and Debate during high school. On campus, she is a dedicated member of the Tri Delta sorority and serves on the Executive Board of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) as the Mentorship Director. Sarah is excited about her internship at Sinclair Hille, looking forward to experiencing the personal side of architecture. She shares, “In school, we learn more about the design and systemic aspects of architecture. I am excited to engage one-on-one with clients and be on-site.” Sarah's favorite part of architecture is the ability to provide solutions to problems through design and iteration. We are proud to announce Sinclair Hille’s, Reid Schubert, Master of Architecture, and Averie Harley, Bachelor of Arts, have officially graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL)! Reid will continue to work with Sinclair Hille full-time as an Architectural Associate. “I am excited to apply what I have learned in a real office setting”. Averie Harley will also continue her career with Sinclair Hille full-time and serve as the Graphic Design and Marketing Coordinator. “I’m excited to reach past my limits and take my experience to the next level.” Congrats Graduates, you did it!
