Google to invest additional $1 billion expanding Dallas data centers. The new state of the art facility in Midlothian brings the total investment from Google up to $2.7 billion, including a $330 million project in nearby Red Oak. “We’re thrilled to strengthen our commitment to Texas,” Yolande Piazza, VP of financial services at Google Cloud, said in a statement. “Expanding our cloud and data center infrastructure in Midlothian and Red Oak reflects our confidence in the state’s ability to lead in the digital economy.” Exciting things happening in the data center world and in my hometown! https://lnkd.in/gPAASArs #datacenters #Google #cloud

I love working from coffee shops (this time White Rock Coffee Preston Center) because there’s always great people around to catch up with.
