Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is the most common cause of liver disease worldwide. Yet, diagnosis and management rely on difficult liver biopsies. The recently completed FALCON 1 phase IIb study assessed the effect of treatment on disease biomarkers and correlations between biopsies and noninvasive biomarkers.
