The precision of the SomaScan Assay has been maintained or improved across all assay versions, up to and including the most recent release covering 11,000 proteins. This can be measured using the coefficient of variation, which is a powerful tool to compare performance across proteomics platforms. Lower CVs are more favorable and are an indicator of assay reproducibility. Nature’s recent published correction to a previous study is important to us, supporting our belief that the SomaScan Platform is leading the industry with dependably low coefficients of variation. Now on-demand: Keenan Walker, PhD, discusses how he integrates proteomic, genetic, brain imaging and cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers from cognitively normal individuals who later develop dementia. He also outlines how he is using this information to discover new blood-based biomarkers and potential drug targets. Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is the most common cause of liver disease worldwide. Yet, diagnosis and management rely on difficult liver biopsies. The recently completed FALCON 1 phase IIb study assessed the effect of treatment on disease biomarkers and correlations between biopsies and noninvasive biomarkers. Results demonstrate value in using data from blood-based SomaSignal® tests, along with liver biopsy, to evaluate how well patients respond to treatment. Read the publication: https://lnkd.in/gz7w67QJ The Global MASLD Congress is coming up June 24-25! Visit us and bring your questions about noninvasive testing options for liver disease. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g6MPQ6ds #biomarkers #clinicaltrials #MASLD #liverdisease

Precision and reproducibility are built into every version of the SomaScan® Platform. The SomaScan Assay’s low coefficients of variation mean that we can supply more data with fewer samples than platforms with higher CVs. Nature’s recent correction to a previous study is important to us, supporting our belief that the SomaScan Platform is leading the industry with dependably low coefficients of variation, delivering the precision our customers need.
