New data from Climate Central, Inc. illustrates the rise in dangerous heat season power outages across the country, which are especially prevalent in the South. The Texas Senate B & C Committee will be meeting tomorrow (8/27) to review implementation of the Texas Energy Fund. The fund would provide financing for new thermal generation resources to the state. These resources are necessary, but do not address the immediate needs of Texans like low-cost #energyefficiency and demand-side resources.
