Congratulations to Armstrong County Commissioner Anthony Shea! Here he is after completing the 335 mile bike ride from Washington, D.C. to Pittsburgh on the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP). The economic impact of this beautiful trail continues to grow. Over 1 million people enjoy all or parts of the GAP every year and help to foster economic growth in the towns along the trail by purchasing local food, beverages, and mementos. The work done by many trail advocates to build a bike trail through natural and scenic vistas through Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania has left a wonderful amenity for all to enjoy. Welcome back, Commissioner Shea! #SWPA #workingtogether

Stay Mappy San Diego! Erika Eagan and Chris Jaros from our GIS team had an incredible time at the Esri User Conference - the world's largest GIS conference in, you guessed it, San Diego, CA! Here are some highlights from their experience: The U.S. National Spatial Data Infrastructure Strategic Plan - They attended insightful sessions on the future of NSDI, including an overview of the 2035 strategic plan and an engaging Q&A. Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Meet-Up - Erika and Chris connected with fellow MPO GIS staff at the annual meet-up hosted by the Denver Regional Council of Governments. Social Celebration at Balboa Park - They enjoyed exploring various museums, such as the Fleet Science Center, San Diego Model Railroad Museum, and San Diego Museum of Art, during the Thursday evening celebration. Check out some of the moments they captured during the conference!
