⚾️ What a night! The sold out Baseball + Networking event at the Saint Paul Saints was an absolute blast! SPAAR members and their families enjoyed a night of fun, food, and fantastic networking. The evening kicked off with a pre-game meal, where everyone had a chance to mingle, chat, and make new connections. Once the game started, the energy in the stadium was electric with attendees cheering the Saints to a win! 🎉 We're so grateful for everyone who attended and made it such a memorable night. We can't wait to do it again! Thank you to our sponsor, NorthstarMLS, for helping make this event possible for SPAAR members. #RealtorLife #NetworkingEvent #SaintPaulSaints #RealEstateCommunity #BaseballFun #MemorableEvening #WorkAndPlay #NetworkingGoals #MNRealtor #SPAAR

About us
The Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS® was founded in 1886, and has grown to over 7,000 members across three jurisdictions. We are dedicated to promoting the dream of homeownership with the highest level of professionalism and integrity. Over a Century of Service For over 130 years, the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS® (SPAAR) has been dedicated to promoting the dream of homeownership with the highest level of professionalism and integrity, through the four pillars: Advocacy, Communication, Professionalism, and Community Outreach. Better Agents The Association serves as a resource to its members, providing education through easily accessible, highly valuable and fairly priced educational opportunities, either through live or on-line courses. We offer relevant educational programs, which will enhance the members’ ability to conduct their businesses in an ethical and professional manner. We will promote and participate in the National Association of REALTORS® REP (REALTORS® Excellence Program) that will enhance the quality of services offered to buyers and sellers. Better Communities The Association coordinates and promotes community service programs to engage members and to create a positive impact in our communities. In 2013, SPAAR created the Community Engagement Award to honor a member, who goes above and beyond just involvement in various community groups and projects. In 2018, SPAAR had the opportunity to donate funds to Rondo Avenue, Inc. for the creation of the future Rondo Museum, and partnered with Meals From the Heart and the community to pack over 250,000 meals for local neighbors in need during the Side by Side event.

Networking is a cornerstone of success in many professions, particularly in real estate. Let's talk about three ways to start to build a strong networking foundation. Identify Your Networking Goals 👥 Before diving into networking, it's important to identify what you hope to achieve. Are you looking to find more clients, learn from experienced real estate professionals, or partner with other professionals to add to your referral network? Setting clear goals will help you target the right groups and individuals and measure the effectiveness of your networking efforts. Leverage Industry Events 📆 Industry events, association events, seminars, and workshops are gold mines as they provide an opportunity to meet industry leaders and peers who share similar goals. Make a point to attend several events throughout the year and prepare in advance to make meaningful connections. Bring business cards, prepare your elevator pitch, and follow up with your new contacts after the event. Utilize Online Platforms 💻 In today’s digital age, online platforms like LinkedIn, real estate forums, and Facebook groups are great tools for networking. Create a professional profile that highlights your expertise, accomplishments, and areas of interest. Actively participate in discussions, share insightful content, and connect with other real estate professionals. Remember, don't just sell yourself. SPAAR offers two Facebook groups for members to join: Metro YPN and SPAAR Members.
