"June 1 marked the beginning of Pride Month, and with it, we saw a beautiful rise in rainbow flags representing the LGBTQ+ community. But why should this celebration be confined to just one month? True PRIDE should be celebrated every day! I am incredibly fortunate to work for SPARC Group LLC, a company where proud employees created our own Progress Pride Flag in our NYC office and ensured it's displayed every single day. At SPARC, community members, allies, and friends are seen, heard, and supported. This year, our amazing community members from the Los Angeles and Seattle offices have been hard at work creating a flag for each location. This initiative, called Inclusivity In Action, truly embodies our commitment to celebrating and supporting the LGBTQ+ community all year round."

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a pivotal moment in American history, by sharing a powerful message from the chair of our BLK Thread Employee Resource Group. Here's what the holiday means to Steven Smith II (he/him/his), Merchandiser for Lucky Brand: "Despite gaining recognition in recent years, Juneteenth remains unknown to many. With this in mind, I like to commemorate this time of year by spreading awareness and deepening my own knowledge of my history. It's important to acknowledge the suffering endured during the almost 100 years between National Independence being declared and the Emancipation Proclamation going into effect. 😎 Summer is here, and so are our interns! We are thrilled to welcome 11 interns to our NYC office in areas spanning Design, E-commerce, Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, and Production. 💡 During their time with us, they'll have the opportunity to participate in numerous workshops, including product lifecycle, workplace learning and development, sustainability, and more! They'll also have the opportunity to partner with each other and mentors on a summer project to present to members of our leadership team. ✨ We look forward to watching them all shine with SPARC this summer!
