#SPINALpedia is a FREE user-generated how-to video network & community helping those affected by spinal cord injury.
About us
SPINALpedia is a free user-generated how-to video network to help people affected by paralysis adapt to life with a disability. All content is filtered to one's specific degree of mobility, making searches efficient and creating a platform for people to connect and learn from each other's experiences. We have thousands of videos –from the basics (getting dressed) to the extreme (adapted skydiving). We have resources for people who are new to paralysis, as well as those who are looking to further enhance their quality of life. We envision a society where people with paralysis reach their greatest level of independence, while redefining societal perception of disability.

A new disability employment research study conducted by both the Kessler Foundation and the University of New Hampshire's Institute of Disability discovered a very interesting post-Covid disability employment trend - college students with disabilities were more likely to be employed then their non-disabled peers, which researchers believe is due to the surge in remote work jobs people with disabilities took on during the pandemic #disabilityemployment #workexperience
