The fourth Project Meeting for the Sport T-Index project took place in Warsaw, Poland on the 16th of July 2024. Project partner Institute for Sport Governance hosted this meeting. The consortium (SIGA Europe, EFDN, UCLM, IOTC, VUB, ISG, FEDAS, EPSI, FPN, EMCA and ICSSS) met to discuss the results of the pilot study and the progress within the project. Representatives from each participating entity presented updates on the progress of their respective tasks, sharing insights into achievements, challenges faced, and potential areas for improvement. And as part of the meeting’s agenda, the partners reviewed KPI's. The meeting concluded with planning for the next transnational project meeting and the final conference in Brussels. The Sport Transparency Index project aims to improve transparency and integrity standards among all sporting stakeholders by introducing universally applicable Integrity indicators. The Sport Transparency Index project has begun the Pilot Study Phase of the project. The Sport Transparency Index aims to evaluate European Sport Stakeholders based on their transparency levels across a standardised set of Integrity indicators. Through benchmarking, it seeks to enhance standards by highlighting current capacities, while also making positive change through educational initiatives, policy recommendations, and knowledge exchange efforts. We anticipate realising these objectives and collaborating with like-minded stakeholders throughout the process. As we approach the final release of the Sport Transparency Index, opportunities for stakeholder involvement will become more frequent. This project is designed to be inclusive and accessible, welcoming stakeholders from all facets of the Sporting Ecosystem to contribute, shape, and engage in this pioneering initiative. We are very pleased to share our update that the Sport Transparency Index project has begun the Pilot Study Phase of the project. The Sport Transparency Index will objectively assess European Sport Stakeholders in relation to their Transparency levels of a set of universally applicable Integrity indicators. It will work to benchmark all Sport Stakeholders to improve standards by shining a light on current capacities. It will concurrently create the means to facilitate positive change through the delivery of associated education, policy recommendations and knowledge exchange initiatives and we look forward to bringing this to fruition and engaging with all likeminded stakeholders throughout the process. As we progress towards the release of the final version of the Sport Transparency Index there will be increasingly frequent opportunities for stakeholders to become involved. We are pleased to share the newest report, Mapping the European Landscape on Sport Transparency. The report can be accessed here: https://lnkd.in/ddhq4ajU   The research report contains the list of 15 indicators and assessment guidelines that will be used for Sport Transparency Index Project. The third Project Meeting for the Sport T-Index project took place in Athens, Greece on the 17th of January 2024. Being based in Athens, project partner International Olympic Truce Centre hosted this valuable third meeting. The consortium (SIGA Europe, EFDN, UCLM, IOTC, VUB, ISG, FEDAS, EPSI, FPN, EMCA and ICSSS) met to discuss the progress within the project. The day started with a welcome and introduction. After that, a general update and an update regarding the research in work package 2 was given. One of the focal points of the meeting was the comprehensive discussion of partner deliverables. Representatives from each participating entity presented updates on the progress of their respective tasks, sharing insights into achievements, challenges faced, and potential areas for improvement. As part of the meeting’s agenda, the partners reviewed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The meeting concluded with planning for the next transnational project meeting. Warsaw, Poland will be the location for the upcoming meeting. The project aims to improve transparency and integrity standards among all sporting stakeholders by introducing universally applicable Integrity indicators.
