A new volunteer mentoring opportunity is available! The Pevoto Mentoring Project will provide high-quality one-on-one mentoring to adults experiencing homelessness. Mentors will provide at least 3 hours of one-on-one mentoring per month for up to one year. Star of Hope Staff will carefully monitor and support all mentoring matches. Thank you to all who helped us get the children at Star of Hope ready for back-to-school time! Last week, Chamberlain University nursing students and SolomonEdwards employees volunteered to put backpacks together. Thank you to these groups and the individuals who assisted throughout the week! A special thank you to HDR and DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, which hosted a school supply drive at their 15 area locations and Mellody Miles of Miles Ministry, who donated 200 backpacks!
