I am excited to share an amazing opportunity. After over 6 years serving as a Board member and Officer of the MSUA - Mobile Satellite Users Association, I will be retiring my post as President on September 1 (or perhaps sooner when we find the perfect leader to step in).
Don't worry, I am not retiring completely. I will continue on as Managing Director for GuideForce where we continue to support organizations in the space, technology, and sustainability industries with creative marketing, media relations, and business development services.
I cannot begin to say how rewarding it has been to support this one-of-a-kind organization that has represented the interests of the millions of satellite solutions users and providers from around the globe for over 32 years. My four years running the annual Satellite Mobile Innovation Awards have been inspiring, challenging, and so much fun. Working with the Board members, officers, volunteers, and members of the MSUA has consistently proven to be an incredible experience.
I would especially like to thank Erwan P. Emilian, Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch, Roger McGarrahan, Brian Barnett, Mark Sykes, John Stolte, Joel Schroeder, Doug Harvey, J. Alberto Palacios, Ana Maria Edwards, Lilac Muller, Andrew Faiola, Francis Auricchio, Frank A., Maike Denda, and Iris Towler for your support, encouragement, and undying dedication to this organization. Without each of your contributions, this organization would not be what it is today.
I also want to thank so many other satellite industry professionals that have played important roles in our awards program over the last several years including Pacome Revillon, Antonio Franchi, Elias Naffah, Christine Joseph, Chris Quilty, Nathan De Ruiter, Tim Farrar, Dean Gobrecht, Charles Walker, Christopher Baugh, Aarti Holla-Maini, Natalia Larrea Brito, Bradford Grady, and Roger C. Lanctot. There are so many others to thank - you know who you are Catherine Melquist, Jennifer Hoil, Rosario T., Steve Hailey...(apparently there is a maximum @mention in LI).
I am excited to pass the baton to the next leader that will take this organization into its next phase alongside some of the industry's most respected professionals.
If you know someone that is inspired to take on the role of President for the MSUA, feel free to reach out to me or any of our MSUA leaders for more information. I am happy to share this unique opportunity with you!
