Earlier this week, #TeamSterling's Carmela Stricklett volunteered with Free Arts NYC at the Madison Square Park Conservancy. Free Arts Days are an afternoon of art making and mini mentoring. Carmela was paired with an elementary aged child to make art inspired by “Seed,” an installation by Rose B. Simpson. When asked why she chose to volunteer with this organization, Carmela shared, "creativity is a huge part of my identity. Empowering fellow creatives is part of my purpose in life. I am so grateful to work for an organization that cultivates my personal passion and allows me to pour into the causes and communities that are close to my heart". Thank you, Carmela, for giving back to your local community!
