Improving the lives of kids and families by investing in quality mental and behavioral health services.
About us
At the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund, we are focused on improving the lives of kids and their families by strategically investing in programs and services that deliver effective and quality mental and behavioral health services. As the largest children’s service fund in the state of Missouri, we fund local nonprofits through a voter-approved quarter-cent sales tax. Since our first allocation in 2010, we have invested over $450 million into children, youth, and families through collaborative partnership with industry leaders that utilize innovative approaches to serve some of the region’s most vulnerable communities. Through our investment, we are helping kids create brighter futures.

In our recent Outreach Council meeting, we discussed with our partners how we can center youth voices in our work. In our May 23 Youth Voices: A Panel on Mental Health event, Alex and Legacy shared their perspectives with us on what they need to feel seen and heard. Hear what they had to say about why the little things — like remembering their names — matter, and how they feel when adults belittle their concerns. See all videos from this event on our website at stlcsf.org/videos/. #youthvoices #youthmentalhealth #stl #mentalhealthmatters

Saying goodbye to our practicum students is always bittersweet! We marked Xiaoyu's last day at CSF on Friday with a family-style team lunch. We shared delicious Chinese food and celebrated her amazing work. We will miss her immensely and are so grateful for all she contributed to our organization in her eight months with us. We know she'll continue to do great things!
